Key Responsibilities:
- Place orders for labels and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Monitor and communicate label delivery timelines to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct quality checks on all label deliveries to ensure they meet required standards.
- Record and issue labels to the manufacturing department as needed.
- Operate and maintain the in-house label printing machine.
- Produce and supply accurate labels to the manufacturing team.
- Maintain appropriate stock levels of printing media and consumables.
- Ensure all label-related data is recorded accurately and updated in internal systems.
Essential Criteria:
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills for liaising across departments and with external suppliers.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or stores environment.
- Familiarity with administrative duties related to inventory or supply chain.
- Understanding of label printing processes or experience working in a print room.
