Accounting Technician
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with a reputable practice based in Newry. Due to demand, the practice is experiencing impressive growth and they are looking to add a qualified technician to their team.
The Company:
Our client is a well established, reputable local practice offering tailored tax and accounts services to their long standing clients.
As the successful Accounts Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Accounts prep for both statutory & management accounts
- Completion of VAT returns
- Completion of CIS/RCT claims
- Bookkeeping duties
- Assisting management team with ad-hoc tasks
As the successful Accounts Technician, you will:
- Be a qualified Accounts Technician
- Have experience working in a practice
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Take pride in delivering work to a high standard
- Have the ability to manage your workload, plan your day & work to deadlines
- Ideally have experience using Xero & Sage
- Be ambitious and enthusiastic
