MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with their new client in Magherafelt who due to expansion they wish to recruit a Sales Executiveto join their growing team.
Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, following up on referrals and leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Manage the full sales processfrom initial contact and proposal preparation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Handle site surveys, quotations, and tender submissions in a professional, timely manner.
- Provide face-to-face support and consultation with prospective and existing customers.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with prospects, client data, and sales activities.
- Monitor market trends and report feedback to management.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure project success from start to finish.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 years sales/business development experience (ideally in the construction or joinery sector).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent face-to-face communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks from initiation to completion.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to meet KPIs and deadlines.
- Confident with IT tools, CRM systems, and MS Office.
- Full clean driving license and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
Desirable Criteria:
- Prior knowledge of the joinery, doors, or wider construction sector.
- Experience in marketing and business development planning.
- Familiarity with fire safety regulations and certification would be advantageous.
