Job Summary

Office Manager

Finch Retailing Ltd established in 2005, is a family owned and operated business.
Since 2005 we have successfully grown the operation to include 4 Spar Stores with forecourts across Northern Ireland alongside a sandwich and ready meal production business.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the job requires the skills of a highly motivated and experienced person.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £29,000 – £32,000

Requirements:

  • Oversee day-to-day running of the office
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and service providers
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Process invoices, credit notes, and supplier payments
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
  • VAT returns
  • Intercompany journals
  • Support internal departments
  • Complete statutory surveys as required
  • Liaise with local councils re licences
  • Work closely with Company accountant

Essential Skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Strong administrative skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff and external contacts
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • Experience with financial packages preferably Sage, proficient in Microsoft Office
  • A team player who thrives in a growing business environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (preferred)

Experience:

  • Management: 2 years (preferred)
