Summary
Reporting to the HR Manager, the role of the HR Officer is to provide line management and employees with guidance and advice on employment matters, policies and procedures and terms and conditions. The successful candidate will have localised travel between sites in the Dungannon area supporting Managers and Supervisors at all levels. The position would suit someone who has been working as a HR Officer/Generalist in a fast-paced work environment and who has the confidence to deal with Senior Managers.
Main tasks & responsibilities
Provide support to ensure delivery is in line with the overall strategy and objectives.
Managing complex employee relation matters across all sites.
Manage sickness absence in conjunction with line managers.
Coordinate occupational health appointments and management referrals.
Management of performance systems including new employee assessments and employee appraisals.
Assist in the recruitment processi.e.advertising, offers and onboarding
Delivery and organization of internal training.
Input, update and maintain the HR database, manual personnel files and other information sources to always ensure accuracy of data.
Lead and deliver HR projects and initiatives
Support company employee initiatives.
Provide data in a timely manner for payroll
Any other duties as required
Desired eductaion & background
Third level qualification in a related subject or at least 3 years similar experience in the last 5 years.
CIPD Qualified
Self motivated with the drive and determination to build a long-term career.
Ability to work under pressure
High attention to detail
A proven track record of handling ER issues in a fast-paced work environment
Competent in the us of the Microsoft Office Suite and HR database systems
