Office Interior Solutions specialise in office refurbishments, fit-out and office furniture. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team in the role of Site Foreperson.
Role
Managing sites for small and medium sized office furniture projects, office fit-outs and refurbishment projects throughout UK and Ireland. Working on several projects at the same time, you will co-ordinate subcontractors and own staff to ensure a timely completion of the programme set out for each project.
You will be aware of the cost implications to help ensure each project is brought in on budget. You will check that all works are being carried out in accordance with the drawings and specification, whilst monitoring the quality of materials used and workmanship on each project.
Responsibilities
Health & Safety legislation including PPE equipment
Managing sub-contractors and in-house staff
Deliveries to site
Liaise with the client throughout their project
Site management from initial set up through to completion and hand over
Ensuring installation of all fit-out and furniture elements
Experience and Attributes
Minimum of 2 years experience working in a site management role is essential (preferably on building sites / interior fit-out sites).
Effective verbal communication skills when dealing with the workforce, suppliers and clients
Good organisational and time management skills and a high attention to detail
