CNC Operator
Job Overview
Were looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator / Programmer / Setter to join our team. Youll be working with Fanuc-controlled machines, manufacturing high-precision, low-volume components. Experience with large components and steel/stainless steel machining is beneficial. CADCAM training available for the right candidate.
Salary –£23,451 – £38,000
Main Duties
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes
- Work from engineering drawings to produce accurate components
- Inspect finished parts to meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimise processes
- Collaborate with engineers to improve production efficiency
- Maintain production records (machine settings, program adjustments)
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Programmer
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- G-code programming essential (CADCAM experience beneficial training available)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with large component machining is a plus
- Milling experience useful but not essential
Working Hours
- Monday Thursday: 08:00 17:30
- Friday: 08:00 14:00
