Job Summary

Reports to: General Site Manager

Work Pattern: 5 days Monday– Friday 6am – 2:30pm (Sundays may be required as a working day on occasional basis)

Salary: Depends on Experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading, training, and scheduling bakery staff to ensure strong team performance.
  • Making sure all baked goods meet our quality and consistency standards.
  • Keeping on top of stock levels and placing orders for ingredients and supplies.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe workspace.
  • Coordinating with other teams (decorating, dispatch etc.) to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Monitoring KPIs, spotting trends, and suggesting improvements.
  • Supporting operational goals and helping drive profitability.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience supervising in a bakery or food production environment.
  • Solid knowledge of baking processes, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on role.
  • Great communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Food safety knowledge or a willingness to get certified
