VANRATH are partnering with one of Ireland’s leading manufacturers, designers, and innovators of joinery and timber products to find a Technical Sales Executive to take on sales of their products, mainly fire doors.
This is a Monday – Friday position, it will be office-based with field visits to clients all over Ireland.
Salary
£30,000 – £40,000 + discretionary commission + Use of Vehicle + Massive Progression Opportunities…
Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site consultations and in-person support to both new and existing clients.
- Generate and pursue fresh business prospects through referrals, inbound leads, and proactive outreach.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects.
- Attend industry exhibitions, networking events, and company-led promotions to boost brand presence.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
- Prepare and submit site assessments, tenders, and quotations promptly and professionally.
- Drive the entire sales cycle, from first contact to finalising contracts and closing deals.
- Keep CRM systems up to date with accurate client interactions, pipeline data, and activity logs.
- Track competitor activity and shifting market trends, relaying valuable insight to leadership.
- Address client concerns efficiently, maintaining satisfaction through a responsive and courteous approach.
Criteria
- 2+ years in sales / business development within construction or joinery
- Driving licence and willingness to travel (there may be some overnight stays infrequently)
- Strong B2B background
Desirable Criteria
- Fire door / joinery specific sales experience
- Marketing and Business Development experience
- Familiar with fire safety regulations
- Related certifications
