Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Chartered Structural Engineer to join our client, a well-established and growing off-site construction specialist.
This role will be responsible for managing your own structural projects across sectors such as Education, Healthcare, and Commercial. Working closely with clients and the senior management team, youll deliver technically robust designs, particularly within Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), including steel framing and timber panel systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Design structural systems using steel, concrete, and timber.

Carry out structural analysis to assess strength, stability, and performance.

Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Tekla.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Ensure all work meets building codes, Eurocodes, British Standards, and health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Provide technical support throughout planning and construction phases.

Identify potential structural risks and propose effective solutions.
Requirements:

Chartered Structural Engineer with strong industry experience.

Background in MMC, particularly steel framing and timber panels.

Proficient inAutoCAD and Tekla.

Solid understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards.

Confident working independently and attending client/site meetings.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
