We are hiring skilled Class 1 Welders for a client in Northern Ireland, specialising in the fabrication of trailers, agricultural machinery, and commercial vehicle bodies. This is a workshop-based role with consistent, steady work on standardised products, using jig-facilitated MIG welding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out MIG welding and fabrication of light-gauge components (no heavy lifting; lifting aids provided)

• Follow technical engineering drawings to produce high-quality finished products

• Work with jigs to ensure consistency and efficiency

• Maintain high-quality standards across all work

• Support production schedules and meet daily targets

• Contribute to a safe, clean, and well-organised workshop environment

Requirements:

• Proven welding/fabrication experience, ideally in manufacturing or vehicle body assembly

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and reliability

• Good communication and organisational skills

• Willingness to learn and work efficiently under pressure

• Must have or be willing to take the UKVI IELTS with a minimum score of 4.0 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking)

Desirable:

• Valid or recent welding certifications (Coded/BS EN/ASME/ISO)

• Experience with jig work and workshop-based fabrication

• Familiarity with production-focused environments
