We are hiring skilled Class 1 Welders for a client in Northern Ireland, specialising in the fabrication of trailers, agricultural machinery, and commercial vehicle bodies. This is a workshop-based role with consistent, steady work on standardised products, using jig-facilitated MIG welding processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out MIG welding and fabrication of light-gauge components (no heavy lifting; lifting aids provided)

Follow technical engineering drawings to produce high-quality finished products

Work with jigs to ensure consistency and efficiency

Maintain high-quality standards across all work

Support production schedules and meet daily targets

Contribute to a safe, clean, and well-organised workshop environment
Requirements:

Proven welding/fabrication experience, ideally in manufacturing or vehicle body assembly

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Good communication and organisational skills

Willingness to learn and work efficiently under pressure

Must have or be willing to take the UKVI IELTS with a minimum score of 4.0 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking)
Desirable:

Valid or recent welding certifications (Coded/BS EN/ASME/ISO)

Experience with jig work and workshop-based fabrication
