Job Summary

Location: Magherafelt, Head Office (With occasional travel to other sites)
Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 17:00 OR 9:00 17:00

Reporting to: Head of People

Are you passionate about finding top talent and delivering exceptional candidate experiences? Were looking for a Recruitment Officer to join our team and take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle across our growing business.

This is a key role responsible for attracting, sourcing, and selecting high-calibre candidates across a variety of departments, including trades, technical, and professional services. Youll work closely with the leadership team and hiring managers to understand business needs and help shape our employer brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, from job scoping and advertising through to offer and onboarding
  • Help build and grow the employer brand
  • Source candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate assessments
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, inductions and pre-employment checks
  • Coach hiring managers in interview best practice
  • Create & maintain job descriptions to accurately reflect & promote our roles
  • Build a strong talent pipeline through utilisation of professional networks
  • Partner with managers to develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Oversee onboarding and probation processes for new hires
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment practices and candidate experience
  • Support Apprenticeship agreements, training and progress reporting

What Were Looking For:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in an in-house or agency recruitment role, ideally within construction, trades, or facilities management sectors.
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle and best practice processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and recruitment compliance.

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent HR qualification.
  • Knowledge of recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies.
  • Experience recruiting for technical, trade, and operational roles.
