The company are an independent engineering firm who provide consulting services throughout the UK and Ireland. This company are a full-service MEP design consultancy who work on a wide range of projects throughout the UK and Ireland including residential, commercial, hotels and retail. This is an amazing opportunity for a Graduate to join a well-established, highly successful consultancy practice with a strong pipeline of work. You will get the opportunity to develop your existing skills, to shadow Senior Electrical Design Engineers as well as joining a company that are committed to supporting your ongoing development.
The role & skills required:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful Graduate Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for assisting the engineering team with a range of duties. The companyare keen to attract design engineers with integrity, enthusiasm, and a passion to learn about building services engineering, you should be;
- Comfortable with learning to use 3D computer drawing packages
- Have great teamwork and communication skills
- Willing to participate and enhance your collaboration skills by working with other construction professionals (Architects, Structural Engineers, Interior Designers etc.)
- Confident to attend building sites to liaise with the construction team
- Intermittent requirements to travel to attend sites throughout NI & UK
