Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £40,000-£45,000

Are you a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a well-established manufacturing team? We’re hiring on behalf of our client for a highly motivated engineer to support their operations across a busy, fast-paced production facility.
About the Role:
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated maintenance team ensuring the smooth operation and minimal downtime of all equipment on site. You’ll work on a rotating shift pattern over two weeks:
- Week 1: Early Shift – Monday to Friday, 5:30am – 2:20pm
- Week 2: Late Shift – Monday to Thursday, 1:00pm – 10:30pm & Friday, 1:00pm – 6:50pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the facility
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on electrical systems and machinery
- Support with machine installations and upgrades as required
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department
What We’re Looking For:
- Time-served electrician or qualified to NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
