We are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a leading global technology company to recruit a newly created Senior Commercial Legal Counsel role within their dynamic and fast-growing global legal team, based in Belfast.

The Role:
In this newly created position, you will play a key role in the commercial legal function, working closely with product and commercial teams on a broad range of matters including:
- Negotiating and drafting complex commercial and technology agreements
- Advising on legal issues throughout the product development lifecycle
- Supporting go-to-market strategies for innovative new tech offerings
- Partnering with stakeholders across the global business on risk mitigation, IP, and commercial strategy
- Helping shape legal process and policy in a growing and maturing in-house team

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial and/or technology law. You’ll bring:
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology contracts
- A highly commercial mindset, with the ability to balance legal risk with business outcomes
- A passion for technology, innovation and working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in or advising global tech companies (either in-house or in private practice)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
