Field Service Engineer
Field-Based – County Monaghan
Are you a skilled Engineer with a solid technical background and an interest in the agricultural sector? We’re recruiting on behalf of our exclusive client, a leading supplier of advanced farm equipment, for a Field Service Engineer to join their Monaghan-based team. This is a key position supporting clients across the region with a strong focus on providing fast, dependable service on building long-term customer relationships.
In this role, you’ll be delivering on-site support to farming clients using both conventional and automated agricultural equipment. From planned servicing to reactive call-outs, you’ll play a vital part in helping farms stay operational – especially during busy periods. You’ll be out on the road, working independently to manage your own schedule while remaining part of a wider support team. A proactive, customer-focused approach is essential, along with the ability to respond quickly under effectively to faults when they arise.
Requirements
- Qualified in a mechanical or electrical trade (or similar engineering background)
- Confident working on the road and managing your own time and workload
- Strong practical skills in problem solving, fault-finding and equipment servicing
- Comfortable working under pressure and responding to breakdowns efficiently
- Great communicator who can build rapport with clients
- Reliable, self-motivated and committed to doing things to a high standard
- Understanding and knowledge of the agricultural industry is a bonus
In return, you’ll receive a base salary of up to €50K, company vehicle, full technology package, and ongoing training and development opportunities.
