Synechron is looking for a Office Manager to join their Belfast office. At the heart of this sociable and growing team (70+ growing fast!) the role is pivotal to the smooth running of the office on a day-to-day basis. Working closely with senior management, clients and colleagues the role offers variety with a focus on building a strong office environment.
With multiple events throughout the year and the opportunity to take on PA support to BU Head, the role is fast paced, challenging and would suit someone exceptionally organised who is keen to get involved in all aspects of office life.
Responsibilities

Greet and provide general support to visitors and clients
Ensuring the office is well maintained and equipment is ordered in a timely manner
Organisation and management of office move
Assist with planning meetings
Organise events such as Town Halls, Diwali and Christmas partys, client visit and events
Answer phone calls, providing information or connecting to appropriate people/ team
Receive and forward posts to relevant team
Schedule appointments and update calendar
First point of contact to new joiners and transfers, and assist HR with induction
Manage office supplies and ordering
Manage office cleaners/cleaning contract
Ensure the office is compliant with all Health and Safety legislations
Liaising with suppliers and vendors regarding orders, invoices and deliveries
Assist with monthly credit card reconciliation
Travel arrangements and reservations for senior managers
Compose and type regular correspondence, like invitations and informative material
Develop and maintain a filing system
Create spreadsheets and presentations
Provide statistical and budget reports
Job requirements

Work experience as an Office Manager/ Assistant who is looking for the next step in their career
Event management skills
Hands on experience with MS Office
Experience liaising with office landlords and maintenance
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and laptops
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Approachable, high attention to detail and good common sense
Office Presence: Due to the nature of the job we preferably require 4 days per week in the office
