Design Build Search is seeking a Site Manager on a contract basis. Our client has been serving the Irish retail sector for over 70 years. They have established a reputation for being the market leader in full turnkey retail installations.
This position is best suited to an individual with a background in shopfitting.

Responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients and reporting on progress to project manager
- Supervising construction workers subcontractors
- Ordering/booking in materials for each phase of the project
- Monitoring project progress
- Conducting quality and safety inspections
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Motivating the workforce
- Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
Requirements:
- Computer literate and able to use email, excel, MS project etc.
- Knowledge of building, construction and retail
- Excellent time management and leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Good initiative and logical thinking skills.
