Senior Associate Payroll £32,500 – £40,000 – Belfast

Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading consultancy firm on the recruitment of a Senior Associate to join the payroll team on a permanent basis.

Our client is offering hybrid working with 3 days per week required into the office.

The Role:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including detailed calculations and thorough reviews to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all payroll outputs.
• Submit Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC and upload pension contributions to the relevant pension provider.
• Apply correct tax treatment to all pay components prior to implementation.
• Provide ad hoc payroll advice to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Support the onboarding of new payroll clients, including the creation of process documentation.
• Ensure all payrolls remain compliant and up to date with current legislation.
• Adhere strictly to agreed deadlines and payroll cut-off dates.
• Communicate with HMRC and third parties to resolve payroll-related queries.
• Manage year-end payroll processes, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.
• Assist with the annual processing of P11D forms.
• Support the management team in delivering projects on time and to specification.
• Analyse time allocation against chargeable codes to support operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the training and development of the payroll team, including updates on legislation, system enhancements, and process improvements.
