REED HR is delighted to exclusively support our client in the North Down area who wish to recruit an experienced HR Officer to cover a 6 month fixed term contract, on a Part Time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a HR Generalist / Officer to work in a well-established business within a highly supportive team and provide expert comprehensive guidance and support across the organisation.
The position is 20 or 21 hours per week onsite, which could be either 3 days – 7 hours per day or 4 days – 5 hours per day. The salary is £ full time equivalent.
This position is likely to move quickly so swift application is recommended.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional HR advice and support on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
- Lead and support on employee relations issues.
- Assist with recruitment and selection, to include the management of international recruitment and updating social medium platforms.
- Assist with the management of short and long-term absenteeism.
- Produce HR analytical reports for management as required.
- Support the implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Criteria:
- At least one year in an HR advisory role or similar
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and IT skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
- Access to a car and full driving license & car insurance in connection with business
