The Role
* Develop and implement advanced electrical distribution systems, including LV/HV harnesses, power control panels, cabling, and associated support infrastructure
* Design system schematics, electrical architectures, and component BOMs
* Integrate complex sub-systems such as energy storage, thermal management, safety and control systems
* Participate in cross-functional design reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully integrated product solutions
* Assist with supplier selection, manufacturing documentation, and end-of-line testing
* Develop standards for electrical architecture, bonding strategies, cable specifications and more
The Person
* Degree-qualified in Electrical, Electronic, Control, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* 3+ years’ experience in electrical system design, ideally in high-integrity or electrified environments
* Solid understanding of LV/HV systems, component integration and electrical safety
* Skilled in CAD (Zuken E3, EPlan, AutoCAD or similar) and creation of schematics/wiring plans
* Experience in energy systems, hybrid technologies or high-performance electrical platforms desirable
* Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
* Strong communicator with a collaborative, delivery-focused mindset
