As a result, they now seek to hire ambitious Project Engineers to help them realise their sustainability goals. The Role As a Project Engineer, you will be based from our clients head office in Fermanagh and you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of renewable energy systems, supporting the company’s sustainability goals across a wide portfolio of projects. Key responsibilities include: Designing and developing renewable energy systems (solar, wind, hydrogen, and other technologies). Managing projects from planning through to completion, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are met. Providing electrical and mechanical engineering expertise, troubleshooting as needed. Ensuring compliance with energy standards and environmental regulations. Producing technical documentation, progress reports, and design specifications. Collaborating with architects, contractors, and internal teams on system integration. Staying current with emerging green technologies and driving innovation. The Person You are an experienced and proactive engineer with a strong foundation in electrical or mechanical systems and a passion for renewable energy. You will bring: A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master’s a plus). Experience working on sustainability or renewable energy projects will be advantagous, although not a prerequisite Proficiency in CAD and energy modelling tools, with strong project management capabilities. Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-specialists. Relevant certifications in project or energy engineering (preferred). A team-oriented attitude with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
