Communications Officer Consumer Council for Northern Ireland Salary: £31,643 – £32,293 Location: Belfast Closing date for applications: Wednesday 18th June 2025 at 5pm The role The Consumer Council is recruiting for a Communications Officer to join our Consumer Empowerment directorate. If you share our passion for championing consumers, this is an exciting opportunity to assist in the delivery of our communication strategy as we work to proactively maximise the voice of the Consumer Council, strengthening the organisations position as the consumer advocacy body for Northern Ireland. Through collaboration with colleagues, the media and our stakeholder network, you will support the delivery of our 2021-2026 Corporate Plan and rolling annual work programmes to empower consumers and grow their confidence and resilience. Eligibility criteria You will need proven experience of: Creating and uploading engaging website content. Managing social media accounts for business use and the creation of compelling social media content. Working as part of a team to deliver campaigns and reach target audiences. Creating engaging written content, e.g. press releases, blogs and/or articles.
