We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager within Belfast. The salary is between £53,755 and £60,504. The purpose of this role is to provide high level programme and project management advice and support to the executive management team for the planning, implementation and evaluation of identified programmes and corporate and strategic projects that will have an effect across health and social care. The post-holder will provide the lead focus for the development and delivery of identified programmes and corporate projects and is required to co-ordinate these activities across teams and staff in the Authority. Main Duties include:- Prepare documentation in relation to programmes/projects and initiatives in line with best practice. Manage sensitive or contentious issues arising out of programme/project management processes. Identify and assess risks associated with programmes/projects and initiatives ensuring the development of appropriate management strategies. Analyse and interpret a wide range of legislation and complex guidance in order to develop practice, policies and standards. Education/Qualification 1a) A university degree or recognised professional qualification and have at least three years’ management experience in a senior management role*. Or 1b) Have at least five years’ management experience in a senior management role*. 2. Hold a project management qualification such as PRINCE2 at Foundation level.
