Job Title: Project Administrator Location: Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland Salary: Competitive, DOE Hours of work: 8-5 Mon – Thurs (8-4 Friday) A leading company in the construction and engineering sector is seeking a Project Administrator to support our teams with documentation control and general administrative tasks. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare pre-tender documents and review online tender platforms (e.g., E-Tenders, LinkedIn). Collect and organise site team information, ensuring follow-up actions are completed. Issue and track subcontractor documentation. Compile and distribute project progress reports. Prepare and issue site start-up packs. Organise Health & Safety and inspection/testing documentation. Compile monthly safety reports and maintain accurate records. Manage the production of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals. General administrative support for project and estimation teams. Oversee drawing control, document filing, and specification management. Maintain staff and operative training registers. Track internal plant registers and equipment allocations. Order consumables and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for sites. Verify invoices against agreed price lists and subcontractor time sheets. Process invoices in line with Purchase Ledger deadlines. Provide reception cover as required. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English. Experience & Skills: At least 2 years experience in a similar role. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
